Painting Banshees and Naughty Kitties.

Posted on

Another Saturday filled with painting.  Have I mentioned before how hard painting is?

Today we tackled the office ceiling, crown molding (it’s actually barely visible trim, hardly royal enough to be called crown molding, but I don’t know how better to describe it), wall primer, and the hallway built in cupboards.

Proof of our backbreaking labor:

It's amazing what a bright white ceiling does for a room.

I purposefully left the ladder in front of the cupboards so the cats wouldn’t jump up on the wet paint.  I think this had the opposite effect and actually made Catchie more precocious because after coming back in from out back to paint the drawers, I found THIS:

Bad Kitty!

Lucky for Catcher, it wiped off fairly easy.  Chris and I touched it up and went to clean up our painting mess.  Came back to find he’d jumped up AGAIN!  I give up, after a long day of painting I’m no match for a naughty kitty.
